Elizabeth Saddi | Wedding Gown Designer

Some designers simply standout for their sheer talent and word of mouth from very satisfied clients. One of them is Elizabeth Saddi.

Without make-up, Elizabeth Saddi could easily be mistaken for a teener with her tiny frame and youthful looks. Not until she talks about her craft with so much passion, conviction, and undeniable expertise in what she does.

At a relatively young age of 27, Elizabeth Saddi is an accomplished designer and has been steadily building a good name, especially in the wedding gown market.

“Fashion designing has been what I wanted to get into, even as a child. I would make some paper dolls, dress them up, and sell them. After high school I formally studied fashion design and became a deputy in the atelier of a famous fashion designer. That’s where I really learned the trade. I have so much to thank him for mentoring me into the world of fashion design”, Elizabeth said.

When asked what sets her apart from the rest, this was Elizabeth’s answer:

“I don’t just design my gowns, I also cut them myself. I believe that my knowledge in cutting is my advantage over other designers who rely on others to cut for them. My gowns seem to have that perfect fit. Each body form is unique so I cut based on the actual curves of a particular client”.

Another advantage would be Elizabeth’s very casual warmth in her that endears her to her clients and friends alike. Others would say it is the “What you see is what you get” type of personality.

“I am not just a designer. I am also a couple’s bestfriend. My relationship with them never ends on the day of their wedding; rather, it is just a beginning of another meaningful Friendship”.

Coming from a very humble background, Elizabeth is a natural, simple and very down-to-earth. She gains friends out of her clients and colleagues for simply being herself, which in a way reflects her own fashion style:

With her current success as one of the more accomplished young designers, what does Elizabeth still dream about?

“I want to expand further. I aim to be a top couture designer someday. Who knows I will not just be the Elizabeth Saddi of Manila but of the world”, Elizabeth smilingly shares her ultimate dream.
